Keep Your Face in the Sun by Jaime Waters

Keep Your Face in the Sun by Jaime Waters

Hi guys! Thanks for stopping by the blog today. This month I used bits from 4 of the stamp sets. The ones I used are from the Take Care Travelers Notebook kit, YES monthly kit, Roosevelt alpha stamp set and Today Is. I love the sentiments in these ones! They are pretty versatile. I used them as a graduation spread for my daughter here but you can use them in so many ways! Here’s a shot of the spread in its entirety.

My favorite stamp of them all are the ‘Keep your face in the sun’  stamp. My daughter had this on her instagram bio for a long time so I thought it was so perfect! I love how it’s in a little arch. I wanted to highlight it so I put it on the photo right in the middle. I used Stazon to stamp it. No worries about smearing! Love Stazon ink!

For the right hand side, I wanted to stack all of those fun sentiments in the journaling block. I love the cute pink grid paper and wanted to use colorful ink for all the different sayings. It wasn't until I finished that I realized the take care card was in different colors too! So the bottom of the whole spread is in colorful text!

I’ll be adding the 3x4 cards to a project life pocket. I used the ‘Roosevelt’ letters to add to the card. The other stamps are from Today Is. I really like how Kelly makes little grids on the journaling cards, it breaks up the writing I have to do. Though I filled out a 3x4 card with full writing, which will also go into a project life protector. In the end I’ll have 4 project life cards up that will go behind this spread in my notebook.
