Hello everyone, Barbara here to share a pocket page spread that I made for my recent birthday. This is a birthday that I would have liked to skip but I decided that if I couldn’t skip it I might as well embrace it. Celebrating with my friends definitely made it a lot easier to accept. The Lucky Ones main kit definitely gave me all the feels and really helped tell the story of how much all these people mean to me.
When I sat down to make this spread I pulled out all of the millennial pink cards that I thought would go with my photos. I wanted to have a good mix of filler but also wanted to make sure I got some stamping in to the spread too.
For my title card I used part of one of the cards from the You Got This Travelers Notebook kit designed by Bananafish Studio. I used the pdf file of the cards and simply cropped around the top portion of the card leaving some white space along the edge. I used the Chelsea alpha stamp set to stamp my title using a gold metallic ink.
I also used a few of the cards from the Carpe Diem mini kit designed by LifeLovePaper to create bases for some filler cards. I used the crossed finger card from the main kit and layered it on top of one of the mini kit cards and I also used another card as a base for some stamping.
I managed to snap selfies with just about every guest at the party so I created a tiny collage to showcase all of these photos. I know I will love looking back years from now and seeing all the people that were there to help me celebrate.
I really loved the quotes on the You Got This Travelers Notebook stamp set so I made sure to fit one into my spread. I thought it was the perfect sentiment to end my spread. I definitely have a lot to be thankful for, especially these amazing friends of mine.
