Hello everyone, I’m so excited to share another fun Traveler’s Notebook spread with you today. My family and I went on a wonderful adventurous vacation to the amazing Philippines. We spent a few weeks there taking in all the amazing culture and beautiful islands. When I got home and saw the new Kelly Purkey Travel Favorites Kit with all it’s beautiful travel themed paper I knew I would be using it to document my travels.

I decided to use this picture of the beautiful sunset on one of the islands we visited. The colors from my picture worked so well with this peachy colored, Wish You Where Here, paper. Adding some striped black and white pattern paper to layer my picture gives my picture more depth and helps it pop. I love using my stamps as embellishments it’s a great way to add layers without all the bulk. So I stamped, My Favorite Place, on white card stock. Then fussy cut it out and added it to my layers.

I wanted to keep things really simple on the right side of my spread. By keeping it simple my picture would be the focal point. So I ended up using two stamp sets to create my title. I started with the Walking On Sunshine Stamp Set and stamped, Palm Trees & Paradise, then stamped the adorable little palm tress right above it. I also stamped Let’s Head To The Beach with a beautiful shade of peachy ink to match the pattern paper from the left side. Using the Travel Favorites Stamp Set I stamped, This Must Be The Place, next to my palm trees. I love this clustered title look.

I wanted to add a hint of color to the corner of my title page. So I cut a few pieces from one of the patterned papers. Cut them into banners, stamped a few more stamps directly on my banners then called my layout done. I hope this layout inspires you to grab your vacation photos and get them documented.
