Wild by Heba Alsibai
We were very unfortunate that Hurricane Irma passed through our beautiful state of Georgia. But let me tell you, the day before the hurricane hit, the skies were beautiful and I was able to snap a photo of the view while sitting in traffic. One of the phrases in the Wild stamp set was (Spectacular Skies) so I knew I would be documenting this picture and using this stamp set.
First, I chose the grid paper for my background because the pattern is subtle and it will help my photo pop. Layering my photo with embellishments and paper, will definitely give my photo dimension, so I made a little cluster by stamping out (Check Out this View) on some craft paper, then layered it with a pink label, stapled them together and added a teeny tiny flower :)
Next, comes the stamping. We don’t have cactuses here in Georgia, but hello this cactuses stamp is to die for, and I wanted to use it. Stamping the cactus on green polka doted paper, fussy cutting it out and adding some foam dots to lift it off my page, adds more dimension to my spread. Wanting to add more green to my spread I stamped the word WILD on green pattern paper, fussy cut it out and stuck it right next to my cactus stamp. All I needed to do now was stamp (Spectacular Skies) with black ink.
I finished off my layout by stamping AMAZING with the Admit One Alpha Stamp Set, added a few Nuvo Crystal Drops and call it done:) I hope you were able to find some inspiration on how you can use your Kelly Purkey Kit and Stamps to create a fun layout.
