I can’t tell you how excited I was to see the new Kelly Purkey Traveler’s Notebook Kit. This kit is for every book lover out there and I am definitely one of them. I knew right away that I would be documenting the last book I read and using the Bookworm Travelers Notebook kit to help me document it.

I always start my layout by choosing patterned paper from the traveler’s notebook kit. I chose the beautiful rainbow striped paper and the (So Many Books So Little Time) paper. This is going to end up being my title for my spread. As always I layer my picture using some scrap paper that matches the colors from my patterned paper. I really wanted some white space to stamp on. So I used some Kelly Purkey label stickers and matched them to the strips going across my patterned paper. Adding the labels was the perfect solution because I was able to bring in the white from the left side of my spread and have space to stamp some phrases.

The BookWorm Stamp Set had a buildable book stamp (which are always a favorite of mine). I stamped three colorful books above my title and under. This really brightened up the left side of my spread and added a little bit of oomph :) Adding some stickers that came with the kit and a few crystal drops then I call my layout done.

I’m really in love with this BookWorm kit. It’s full of bright patterned papers and a fun stamp set that will help you document your summer reads. I hope I was able to inspire you on how you can create some fun layouts with your new Kelly Purkey Traveler’s Notebook Kit. Have fun crafting my friends!!!
