Take a Hike

Take a Hike

Hello, Jaime here! I’m so excited to use the Take a Hike Stamp Set with my pictures from Grand Canyon TWO summers ago! Kelly always knocks it out with some outdoors sets and I think I’ve got a good variety now, I’m excited to combine them! I especially loved this one because of the big Natl Park font. I love how big and bold that is!

I loved the idea of a full page of photos and a little collage of the stamped images mixed all together. I used wash tape for little embellishments around the spread. I love combining the stamps and stickers. Like I said, that title gives it such a nice punch, not much is needed!

For the photo taking of this spread, I have the cards to the side. Eventually I will add the journaling cards tucked behind the photos. I stamped directly on my photos with a regular stamp pad. I used to use the Stazon ink but my pad dried out and I found this works just as well- I just have to be very careful and not touch it for a good couple of minutes. I actually find it more forgiving as well- the stazon is pretty sticky and I have messed up a good couple of photos with my stamp sticking to the photo as I peeled it off.  Stamping on photos is my favorite!
