Sunday Vibes by Jen Carlson
This month’s kits were all just so good I had to pick a sampling from each of them to use on this spread! I always love incorporating the TN kits into my pocket pages. Goes to show how versatile these kits are! This layout was about a few shops my friend and I hopped around to on a leisurely Sunday afternoon. I thought the vibes of the photos paired well with the Rest and Relax Travelers Notebook kit, so took off from there!
I started by simply stamping a phrase from the 100% Fun Travelers Notebook kit underneath a card from the Good Things kit. I really loved the simplicity and colors of the journaling card so didn’t want to add too much to detract from the design. It pretty much speaks for itself, alright alright alright???
Next I cut a 3x4 card from the Rest and Relax Travelers Notebook kit paper and pulled one from the Good Things Kit. I liked the hand holding the sign stamp from the Do Your Thing stamp set, but couldn’t manage to fit my journaling in just one. I came up with the idea to stamp 3 in a row and just print my journaling on white photo paper as I normally would. I fitted the journaling within the 3 signs and stapled the white strip down on top.
I just had to use the palm stamp from the Rest and Relax Travelers Notebook kit (LOVE IT!) so grabbed a small white shipping tag and stamped it in an offset fashion. A word sticker from the same kit completed the little tag. Just a note about these stickers—they’re awesome! Looking at them you think they’ll be transparent, but the color is solid and the material is really cool!
To house one of the business cards I picked up from the day, I picked a card from the Good Things kit as my background. A gold paperclip didn’t seem like quite enough of an added detail so I picked another corner sticker to lay on top. It worked aesthetically as well as functionally.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my pocket page spread! Even though project life layouts are my jam, you just might be seeing more TN spreads on my blog and IG in the near future ;) Whichever you prefer, you can see that Kelly’s kits can be applied to either!
