What I Wore by Heba Alsibai
Hi everyone, Heba here to share another fun spread in my traveler’s notebook. I’ll be using the new TN kit (Big Plans) and some of the new stamp sets that released in the Kelly Purkey Shop. This year I did some major decluttering in my closet. I got rid of a lot of my older rarely worn clothes. But for 2019 I think I want to jump on the ban wagon and join the Capsule Wardrobe. It’s been something I’ve wanted to do for a while.
So when I saw the new (What I Wore) Stamp Set from Kelly Purkey, I knew it was time to take the plunge and document my plans for this new journey. One thing that motivates me to do something is to actually document it. So I printed a few photos of my Outfit Of The Day and started documenting my plans to start a capsule wardrobe for 2019.
I really loved all that green patterned paper in the kit this month. It was hard to decided which paper I would use. But I ended up using three of my favorites and actually cutting down one of them and adhering it to the other. Once I got my papers and photos cut down and stuck down, I started stamping. I used the (What I Wore) Stamp Set and stamped a line of clothing on the bottom of my page. I also stamped a few words, from the same stamp set, to help me document my favorite pieces of clothing from 2018.
I had an extra photo of my wardrobe that I wanted to add to my layout, but didn’t have space. So I cut out a little slit in one of the folders. Then I used a tag, stamped a little schedule for myself and adhered my extra photo to it. This month Kelly Purkey released the Highline Outline Number Stamp, a companion to the solid Highline Number stamp set that was released a few months ago. I was so excited about it, it’s definitely a favorite! So I used the inline and outline Highline Number stamp to stamp out 2018 to my spread. I love the boldness of the Number stamp.
I really love how my layout turned out and I am so motivated to start my capsule wardrobe in 2019. I hope you were inspired by my layout and try these new stamps and kits for yourself.
