Those Autumn Feels by Jaime Waters
Hi guys! Thanks for stopping by the blog today. I made a Traveler’s Notebook spread with the Storytime monthly kit cards. I also used the stamps from the New Season stamp set by Tina. I LOVE THOSE LEAVES! I have tried lots this year to add more color in my stamping. These leaves make it SO easy and fun to do so! I think the easiest little tip for adding color is probably not to get too crazy and add too many! I chose a few that went with the papers and stuck with them.
I thought the little white space from the card made a perfect spot for the leaf stamping. I like that the Traveler’s notebook cards are designed with different spaces so it makes the decisions of cutting up/where to stamp super easy!
I still swoon overtime I get to stamp Tina’s handwriting on my papers! I love the mix of her handwriting with the fonts. Super simple but nice touch. Mixing white with lighter shades is something you don’t think of when mixing colors- it’s such a subtle touch but with the rip from the paper color, it makes another subtle touch.
For the right hand side, I wanted to mix a bunch of patterns. When using the circle punch, it cuts the bulk and makes a good sized assortment of patterns. I added the little yes stamp to the mix of circles. I love that feather paper because it’s so fall! I used wash tape at the top to anchor the page down.
