All You Need is Balloons by Theresa Doan
Hello everyone! Theresa here to share another traveler's notebook layout with you. There’s so many fun releases this month! One of my favorites is the All You Need is Ice Cream Stamp set. I love all the different ice cream combinations you can create. You can also create a number of different patterns with the stamps as well.
My little guy is obsessed with balloons and I wanted to create a layout using a recent photo of him on my birthday holding balloons. I used the ice cream scoop Stamp from the All You Need is Ice Cream Stamp set to create a bouquet of balloons. I began by stamping a few circles on a piece of paper and cutting them out. I used these circles as a mask, so I could create layers of balloons without overlapping the colors. I started with the balloons on the bottom of the bouquet, working my way up. I used a black pen to draw in the ballon strings. I stamped "all you need is" in black ink over the balloons and then used black alpha stickers to write out "balloons" beneath the bouquet.
On the opposite page, I printed a square Instax print. I stamped “uniquely you” from the You Get Me stamp set on my photo and added a small label sticker with the date. I stamped “keep it cool” under the photo then drew random lines underneath to add my journaling to.
I used the small ice cream scoop stamp to create a random pattern around my photo and journaling. I used the same colors I did for the balloons to tie both pages together. I always have fun finding different ways to use stamps other than the original design. I loved working with this stamp set, can't wait to see what you all create!
