Hello everyone, Heba here to share a Proejct Life spread. Last month was my birthday month WooHoo!! I got to spend the day with one of my favorite people on the planet, my wonderful sister. We did some IKEA shopping and had brunch together in downtown Atlanta, we had a blast. When I saw the new You Got This Traveler’s Notebook kit designed by Bananafish Studio and the Wearing & Loving Stamp Set I knew I wanted to document my sister and I’s birthday date.
I started by adhering two of the pattern papers from the You Got This Traveler’s Notebook Kit to my spread. I kept the layers under my photo soft and simple to match the simple designs on the pattern paper. Using the Chelsea Alpha Stamp Set to stamp out my title was a bit of a struggle. Because I didn’t have space to stamp out my original title, Sister Lovin, I had to scrap that title and shorten it to Sista Lovin. I had a vision of creating a straight line on the left side of my page using my stamps and embellishments. So I stamped the little cluster stamp right above my title and added some arrow wood veneers to help create that line from one end to the other. Wanting to bring in a little bit of black to my spread I decided to use my Kelly Purkey black alpha stickers to spell out Always right above my picture.
I used the Wearing & Loving Stamp Set to stamp two females that represented my sister and I. It was so much fun using this stamp set to create these figures. The little details like the peace sign in my sisters shirt was the perfect little touch.
