Let's Wander Together
My most favorite projects have to be my travel journals. I love opening a new, blank journal and filling it with mementos and memories from our little and big adventures. I'm all about simplicity and just getting everything down on paper while it's all still fresh to me. A huge part of me being able to accomplish this and finish these journals is minimizing the supplies I bring. I found that the less I bring, the less complicated it becomes to decide what to use on each layout.
When I saw the new Orchard and Sullivan Street alphabets, I knew they would work perfectly together to create titles and phrases in my journal. The different sizes and style make them look great together or used individually. So I brought these 2 alphabets along with an ink pad, clear block, photo printer and adhesive. I used these stamp sets throughout my entire journal.
I always make sure to save everything throughout the trip that I think I can use in my journals. Ticket stubs, luggage tags, business cards, coasters, retail bags, pamphlets, menus and product packaging. Even if I can't get my journaling done right away, I try to at least get these mementos glued in and journal later in the day as I find time, and stamp my titles.
Alphabet stamps are my favorite and the most used and versatile supplies I have. These two stamp sets are a great addition to any collection! Can't wait to see what everyone does with them along with the other great new releases!
